We’re Growing (and Hiring) at POWER

Updated: Apr 9

Growth at POWER Sales & Strategy has always been intentional. We expand when client demand calls for it and when the right people come into view — professionals who operate with initiative, professionalism, and strong follow-through.

As our national client work continues to build, we’re adding to our bench in a few targeted ways. Some roles are regionally focused, others are project-based, and all are designed for people who like to move with purpose, take ownership, and contribute to meaningful work behind-the-scenes and in the field.

If you’ve followed our work or have been part of the broader POWER network, you know we value clarity, responsiveness, and high standards. We build our internal team the same way we help clients build their sales organizations: thoughtfully and with the long game in mind.

Currently Interviewing (as of Q2 2026)

Part-Time Business Development Professionals

We’re seeking experienced, relationship-driven professionals who are energized by outreach, connection, and opening doors. This is not a high-volume dialing role — it’s strategic business development tied to real conversations and real opportunities. Ideal candidates are organized, self-directed, comfortable representing a premium brand, and confident engaging senior-level decision makers.

Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support leadership in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This role requires strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities with precision. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable operating behind-the-scenes to ensure strategic initiatives are executed within the business. Ideal candidate can jump in quickly to support the business behind-the-scenes, at least 20 - 30 hours a week, or as mutually agreed. Must have an above average (or over-the-top) command of Google Workspace, Wix contact record management, Zoho CRM, Zoom, LinkedIn, and Canva. Must be nimble, self-sufficient, and willing to quickly learn any other tools, systems and processes needed to support a small and growing firm. ***Candidates who can easily be in Plymouth, MI OR Midland, MI at least one day a week will be prioritized in the interview process.***

Michigan-Based Networking Ambassadors - contractor/part-time

We’re expanding our in-person presence across Detroit, Lansing, and Midland with a small group of trusted ambassadors. These individuals serve as connectors in their local markets — attending select events, nurturing relationships, and keeping POWER visible in the right rooms. This role is well-suited for professionals with strong community ties, natural relationship instincts, and a reputation for professionalism and follow-through.

Six-Week Summer Internships

We’re bringing on at least two college students for short, high-impact summer projects. These internships are designed for individuals who are curious, capable, and comfortable working autonomously.

Areas of focus may include:

  • AI tools and practical applications

  • SEO, GEO, and AEO strategy

  • Backlink research and digital visibility

  • Marketing and content support tied to real initiatives

Interns will work on clearly defined projects that matter to the business and will gain exposure to how a national sales strategy firm operates day to day. Strong communication, initiative, and the ability to move nimbly are must-haves.

Founder Needs / Plymouth, MI applicants only

This Plymouth, MI-based support role is designed to provide hands-on assistance to the founder across a variety of operational and administrative needs. Responsibilities may range from scheduling and coordination to personal assistant–type tasks that help maintain efficiency and forward momentum. Having reliable, on-the-ready support in this capacity allows leadership to remain focused on high-impact priorities.

Must have a valid driver's license (with a good driving record), and a willingness to transport family dogs as requested. Position is 10 - 20 hours / month - ideal for students, parents, or retirees wanting to support POWER's owner and founder.

A Note on How We Hire

Sometimes you just know when you know. We do meet 'n greet phone calls with almost anyone introduced to us. Because talent shouldn't be limited to the openings we've posted above. We look for people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and follow through. Many of our best hires have come through introductions and referrals from people already in our network.

If someone comes to mind who would be a strong addition to the POWER team — or if one of these roles sounds like the right fit for you — we’d be glad to start a conversation.

Growth is exciting, and the right people make it sustainable.
